Install the mounting bolts through shackle and spring. Replacing a leaf spring hanger is rather easy. How to Install a Leaf Spring Hanger. Raise the rear axle and spring eye with shackle.

Using a floor jack, raise the rear differential of your vehicle off ground, Use jack stands under frame to support. Leave the bolt loose to allow alignment of shackle with spring. Lower the jack so that suspension droops, this will take weight of vehicle off shackle and allow for removal mounting bolts. Remove the upper mounting bolt which attaches shackle to mount on frame then remove existing.
